Posted on Dec 15 2018 - 2:17pm

The Troop/Pack Christmas party is tomorrow, Sunday, December 16th from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the church hall.  As a contribution to the event, we ask that each scout bring a drink (no soda please).  Drinks that don’t require cups would be ideal (i.e. case of bottled water, Gatorade, juice boxes, iced tea, lemonade, etc….).  Any other food items are also welcome (cookies, etc…).

Service Project - Help Decorate OLS Church for Christmas

We have now confirmed that the time of our annual service project for the Church will be December 23, 2018 after the 11:00 mass, NOT as previously tentatively scheduled on our website.  I would suggest, if possible, you plan on attending the 11:00 mass so you are ready to help after it.  This is one of the few times we help out the parish during the year, and they really do rely on our help. Wearing your class A or a visible Class B shirt goes a long way in showing the parish how much we help. Please sign up on the website for this as soon as possible so we know you are coming!

Escape Rooms Update

Posted on Nov 12 2018 - 2:35pm

Hi All – This email confirms the following attendees for the Escape Room adventure next Sunday (and pizza beforehand at Brother’s).   Thank you to those who RSVP’d online by the deadline.  The rest of the troop confirmed their attendance verbally at the meeting last night and all RSVP’s were then entered into the troop website.  Tickets have been purchased for everyone listed below and credits were applied as payment for anyone that was due a refund from ScoutFest (The balance of your refund is now $16.50 ($41.50 - $25 = $16.50)).  Please let us now if you would like the remaining credit balance refunded, or held in the troop account for future activities.

Escape Room - The Voyage of the Nautilus

Posted on Nov 5 2018 - 6:50pm

As requested, instead of a troop meeting on Sunday, November 18th, the troop will meet at 6:00 PM at Brother’s Pizza on Rt. 33 for pizza and proceed to the Cloak & Dagger Escape Rooms at 7:30 PM for an interactive adventure that requires teamwork, curiosity, wit, and strategy.  Work together as your routine cruise aboard the fabled submarine, the Nautilus, is suddenly attacked by a giant octopus.  After fighting back, it is your job to get all systems back on line before running out of air!  You will have one hour to complete your mission.  Depending on the turnout, Scouts may split into two smaller groups with one group in the Nautilus adventure and the other in The Search for the Jade Skull adventure.  This will be determined at the next Troop meeting.
